From a Home Kitchen to a Louisville Favorite

Penny and Pearl’s was born in March 2020 in the home kitchen of founders Natalie and Amanda Zant. During a time of isolation and uncertainty, the warm, familiar comfort of fresh-baked cookies was embraced by the Louisville community and quickly grew into something much larger.

Because of the overwhelming love and support from that community, the bakery expanded into a storefront in St. Matthews in 2021. Today, the focus hasn’t changed; bake the best cookie possible and make sure every person who walks through the door is welcomed by the warm aroma of fresh-baked cookies and an experience that feels just as inviting.
